Nails // Blue & green

It's time for another nails update...

I actually had bare nails for most of last week, but decided to remedy that on Friday after work. I sat and watched a few episodes of Downton Abbey and tried out two of my most recent nail polish purchases. By the way, if you have not jumped on the Downton Abbey train yet, do it, you won't regret it! I'm working my way through the second season right now, and am in looove. Anyways, I couldn't decide if I wanted to use the blue or the green polish more, so I went with both. I painted every other nail green and the other nails blue. The pattern keeps going across my right hand, too. I thought about jazzing them up even more with some polka dots using my Sally Hansen pen (like in this post), but I was too busy watching the Downton drama to really focus on anything more complicated than this.

I used:
Orly Nail Lacquer in Green With Envy
Nina Ultra Pro Salon Formula Nail Lacquer in Blue La La
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

I really liked this color combination. I even got a compliment on my nails from a total stranger, which is always nice. So of course, I was really sad when one of my nails started chipping within an hour of getting to work on Monday... I had been hoping it would last longer than just a few days. However: a chipped nail only means I get to take off whatever polish I happen to be wearing, and start again with something new. Which, of course, is exactly what I did. :)

    1. I liked it quite a bit myself! It made me think 'ocean' or 'seaside' or something :)
